Holy Crap. You better know the Starbucks menu by heart before even entering this establishment because once you jump in line there will be a feisty little employee coming down the line with a headset on calling out the orders by mic to the other workers hustling behind the counter making mochi venti carmalati's galore (Starbucks language is almost impossible to learn WTF is that?) I don't drink coffee so I am totally out the crazy terms that are being yelled out but let me just say this staff is on point! I swear they must have to do an olympic style obstacle course in order to get the job. I'm surprised their arms don't fall off! Anyways, everything is extremely fresh as this IS the busiest Starbucks in all of Miami (true fact) so things are replenished quite often and even if you see a line of what looks to be 500 students dying for a coffee, don't worry! The line will go so fast your head will spin! Best Starbucks ever, for sure. Ps- to the students who want to "study" here...all I say is GOOD LUCK! This is also by far the noisiest Starbucks on earth! Walk across to the library, you won't regret it.

Great location. Orders always come out tasting great and they never mess up my order. Lines can get long though. Store is always clean and spacious.

Surprised to see this place open on a Sunday and busy too. I was 5th in line behind the usual chatterboxes of members from sororities and frats when I got my order, and I got my cappuccino extra hot the moment I paid for my drink. I was able to use my Starbucks card which was nice cuz some places affiliated with schools don't accept starbucks cards. The location is very convenient as it is right across the Richter library. Would definitely come here again. WIsh there was a Starbucks on the medical school campus. I rather drink coffee from Starbucks than from au bon pain.

This is a Starbucks but its not Starbucks, its UM Chartwells. It is right across from the Richter library on campus so they have special hours at different times. They are super efficient at getting orders as soon as you walk in the door so the wait is a lot shorter than you would expect it to be from looking at the line. However, the credit card machine breaks down a lot and that causes a whole new slew of problems. Also, they don't accept all the promotions that a true Starbucks location does, like birthday drinks, happy hours, and etc. So for that you need to go across US 1 to one of the other 5 million Starbucks in this 2 mile radius. You can however use dining dollars and cane express here if you have a meal plan and are a UM student.

One of the best Starbucks in Miami. There's almost always a long line, but the crew clears it SO QUICKLY. Get in a line with twenty or thirty other people, and you'll be through the line in 10-15 minutes. What a feat. Plenty of places to sit inside, just don't expect it to be quiet! It rarely is...

Where to start.... WOW. BEST STARBUCKS IN THE ENTIRE MIAMI. The staff is extremely efficient and fast with taking orders and making drinks. Usually in the morning and sometimes in the evenings the lines are extremely long, but not matter the size the line always goes by fast. I've dropped my drink before on multiple occasions outside of the establishment(I know klutz) and I simple just had to walk in and tell them what happen, and within 2 minutes another drink was ready for me no questions asked.

If you come at the wrong time, you may end up waiting 10 to 15 minutes for your drink. There's usually a rush right before classes start, for me that's usually around 2:30 and 5:00p. The line will wrap around and reach the front door. The staff are generally very friendly, but they can be a bit rushed during the busy times. I usually order just regular coffee and it always comes out fresh and quickly. They have about half a dozen tables with chairs, and I usually don't have a hard time finding a place to sit. This Starbucks is also located across from Richter library so I often grab a cup of coffee and head to the library. The sign, how everyone, is not viewable from outside, unless you're standing right in front of the coffee shop, so it's easy to miss.

Starbucks on the UM campus 1. busy 2. busy 3. busy 4. limited hours This Starbucks is always busy and noisy. Even though the new location has opened on campus, this line is still egregious. It is constantly noisy and a terrible place to study. The "new" Starbucks, by the lake, on campus is far superior in size, speed, and ease! If you are in dire need of coffee while studying...oh wait, this Starbucks closes super early and is never open on the weekends. No caffeine for you!

Service here is horribly slow and honestly the staff can be super rude. I mean this shouldn't really be considered Starbucks. It's Starbucks operated by Chartwells(UM's designated food service company) so its not super efficient. Better than nothing though so I've been a patron for 4 years while at UM.

This review must begin with an obvious but important proposition: This is a Starbucks. So my evaluation of it operates in that light--how it compares to other Starbucks, and other coffee/food options in Coral Gables. That said, as compared to those options, this Starbucks rules. The food/drinks are the same as any Starbucks, but what makes this place pop is the ridiculous efficiency. This is the only coffee joint on the UM campus, and the demand for caffeine means that lines are often ridonkulously long. But the staff at this place have worked out a system for moving the line along that the Disneylands and food trucks of the world could take a cue from. And despite the pressure of massive lines, the wait staff here are totally cool and nice. None of the ridiculous F-you attitude that you'll find throughout the rest of Miami. Also despite this demand and general crowdedness in line, there are often places to sit, and you can get on the UM wifi from here, so long as you're a student, faculty or staff member. I would like to see more coffee options (Starbucks or otherwise) on the UM campus, but given that this is the status quo, the folks at this Starbucks do a great job.

They're quick as can be and if they make a mistake, they apologize so much it's hard to stay mad. Luckily, they didn't make a mistake with my order but they were so genuinely apologetic to another customer and even offered her to make her a new drink that she would be more satisfied. It was nice to see that- good customer service is hard to find nowadays. The place is always packed and I really think that UM needs to open a new location on campus because it can be ridiculous!

I work dangerously close to this starbucks and am tempted to walk in every morning. I have seriously cut back on my starbucks intake and switched from coffee to tea but every once in a while Starbucks calls me. I really do enjoy the new selection of snacks called Bistro Boxes like the fruit and cheese box or the chicken and hummus box with veggies and pita. Also I have to give a shout of for the oatmeal. YUMMMM This is a nice place to escape my office from time to time but this place gets packed! I have seen a line of students snake through the store and go right out the door. The best times to go is during class and late, after 5:00.

Staff know how to be productive, they're like a well lubed production line. Don't take it personal if they seem to rush you when taking your order if that line is long. Other than that try your best to avoid the in between class rush.

There is a special place in my heart for the UM Starbucks. The staff here knows how to MOVE. Don't ever be turned off by long lines. However, if you want to avoid lines, try to come while students are in class and not during the breaks.

Grossly overpriced, even more than other Starbucks locations. Staff is usually rude. I really have nothing good to say about Starbucks, and this particular location is even worse than most.
